In the late morning, the adventures with the help from Stein, head deep into the dangerous swamp where they come to an overgrown warehouse. The warehouse is surrounded by a moat with a narrow 4ft pass that reaches a length of 80ft with gators and creatures swimming in the murky water. The adventures split up into two groups: Nero and Stein, and Vore and Sunny each with their creative plan to infiltrate the warehouse. Nero and Stein, decide to climb the side of the building with a makeshift rope, discovering a small hatch on the roof that overlooks the inside. Sunny and Vore approach the front door, discussing the change of disposition in Vore, as well as the appearance change in battle from Nero. A sudden movement from inside prompts the front door team to knock at the door. Yet, not hearing a response, Vore steps up and opens the door, triggering a crossbow trap that was connected to the door, shooting a bolt into his chest. In pure shock and agony, Vore screams out while Sunny tries to mend the wound using healing magic. At the same time, Nero and Stein hear the scream and believe they are in trouble rapidly open the hatch to see a racked wall filled with a multitude of boxes open and unopened, with different goods scattered around. They also notice a small table, with three bandits playing a game with their belongings right next to them. However, a sudden push from behind causes the two of them to fall right onto the table and the hatch above close. While Sunny and Vore make their way in and investigate the table, noticing the people were made of straw and see the two fall and the door behind them swing close. Darkness now fills a room and the adventures now alert for impending danger and reach for their weapons. Yet, Vore in panic searches for his lost belongings instead of being scared, prompting Sunny to help look to calm his nerves. Searching around for a bit, Sunny finds the ring but is quickly picked up by a mysterious figure that moves in the shadows. Concurrently, in front of Nero and Stein, two figures come from the darkness weapons drawn demanding their goods. Trying to calm down the perpetrators the adventures try to find the truth of the operation and upon explaining Nero rushes forward. Instigating the fight. A bloody battle breaks out, and the adventures quickly subdue all of the bandits, however, the leader, Dekon finds his rest with the Gods after Vore violently beats him down. Yet, before his final breath they learn that the orders they are supplied come from Hamble’s leaders, and Dekon is the only one able to read the letters, and afterward always ordered to burn the letter to hide trace. At the same time, Nero in a childlike state, wanders around tying up any bandit he can find, no matter their emotions or feelings. While Sunny in a furious panic determines who must be tended, saving Stein and a small child from the bandit group. But not being able to save Dekon in time. After the fight clears, Nero and Vore check up on Stein, who was knocked unconscious during the fight, giving him some needed company while he gets to his feet. Yet, Sunny in disarray and filled with sadness, tends to the wounded boy asking questions about their involvement and morals. The boy confesses that this was the only way that they were able to survive in this world, that joining the bandits was better than living on the streets poor and hungry. Furthermore, he emphasizes the fact that the bandits are scared to leave the town, hearing a rumor that those who tried to leave are found and taken to the city and disappear forever underground. Sunny is compassionate to the child, Vore sheds a tear looking at the boy and Nero who wants to tie the child leave under the child's request, heading back to the town. In town, a sudden revolution has taken place and the citizens of the town have brought the Stone Seeker into a circle. Lead by Mr. Phenon, he discussing what he should do with them to Sunn, before departing the three adventures with a blessing from the town.
